Our Six Step Fertilizer Program
Finding that perfect lawn-life balance can be tricky. Look no further! Our carefully developed 6-step treatment program has proven to be effective. From dialing in the right product, using industry leading equipment, and consulting with industry leading developers, Alt’s Operation has you covered.
1. Early Spring: A granular pre-emergent containing Dimension herbicide is applied to give your lawn a boost after the long winter season, all while attacking those pesky broad-leaf weeds and crabgrass.
2. Late Spring: A 3-way liquid herbicide sprayed in blanket fashion. This application attacks broad-leaf weeds and suppresses the initial dreaded dandelion wave. This product also attacks thistle, clover, wild violet, and creeping charlie.
3. Early Summer: A nitrogen forward granular application is applied with an organic, nutrient-rich, additive that is produced from biosolids, It protects against nitrogen loss while increasing the soil’s ability to hold moisture and decreasing salinity.
4. Mid to Late Summer: A 4-way broad spectrum liquid herbicide applied in a blanket fashion penetrating into the soil defending against the peskiest of weeds.
5. Early Fall: A nitrogen-forward granular application with an organic additive that will help maintain soil nutrient content with root strengthening qualities.
6. Late Fall: A slow-release granular fertilizing winterizer. Boasting a low salinity content and iron for deep greening, your lawn will be healthy and ready to “spring” into action as soon as the snow melts and the weather warms up.
